After the success found in helping 13-year-old John Denton last year, the local superstar and The Salford Trust are again proud to re-announcing the return of the award for one lucky young musician. Over a year ago, John Denton was busking in Manchester City Centre in his spare time, with the determination that the hard work would eventually pay off, and he would be able to take his musical journey to the next level and make a success of his talent.

Jon Courtenay, winner of Britain’s Got Talent, led a talented cast of performers at the charity Halloween Ball at the Vermilion on the 30th October supporting the work of the Trust and Salford Children’s Holiday Camp. Nearly 600 guests attended the event that included a charity auction that generated much needed funds for the work of both charities in supporting children, young people and families in Salford.
