Local Musicians Support The Trust with a Charity Record

The Trust is pleased to be associated with the single, “The Dice of Life” by Seagull and the Pastie.

The charity song is the brainchild of Kevin Butler, a worker for the North West Ambulance Service, supported by Bradley Nixon (who wrote the music),  a guitar  teacher and professional musician with various music ensembles and Matthew Mills, a NHS worker and part time professional musician. Kevin had success in 2020 writing and recording a charity song in support of Shelter and this year with accompanying headband, permed hair and leopard print pants, has recorded an 80’s inspired rock anthem. A few rehearsals and a recording session later at Shure 5 Studios Oldham saw the song “The Dice of Life” completed and submitted to Apple Music in readiness for its launch on 5th December.

Bradley Nixon said,” having heard the lyrics, I could see a real fit with the work of Salford Foundation Trust  - a charity I have supported previously - and was pleased when Kevin agreed to link The Trust as the beneficial charity for the donation that will be generated by downloads”.

The song can be downloaded through Apple Music or Sopfity please support out work by downloading the song.
