The Johnny Marr Award Returns!

After the success found in helping 13-year-old John Denton last year, the local superstar and The Salford Trust are again proud to re-announcing the return of the award for one lucky young musician!

Over a year ago, John Denton was busking in Manchester City Centre in his spare time, with the determination that the hard work would eventually pay off, and he would be able to take his musical journey to the next level and make a success of his talent.

It wasn’t soon after this, that John’s mum reached out to The Salford Trust with the hope that John’s natural talent would help him receive the funding he needed for lessons and new equipment to rock out with.

A year later, he’s got his own band, and has hung out with his idol, Johnny for the second time now.
