Congratulations Jacob

Huge congratulations to Jacob Chambers who competed in the CP Swimming Nationals on Sunday 25th March in Nottingham where he won 2 Golds, 1 Silver and 2 Bronze medals Jacob competed in the men's 14 -18 age group a big achievement as he is only 14 years old. He gained his gold medals in the 200 Individual Medley and 100 Fly. His Silver medal in the 100 BRS and his Bronze medals in the 100 Back Stroke and 50 Free style. Jacob is currently being supported through The Trust to attend the CP World Games in August this year and one of our business supporters McDonalds have given Jacob the great opportunity to self-fundraise at their Eccles Restaurant. Kyle's incredible Muay Thai winning record

Kyle has been supported by The Salford Foundation Trust to attended 20 one to one Muay Thai Boxing sessions with former national champion Geoff Downes. This opportunity has enabled Kyle to be the best he can be around his fitness and technique ultimately preparing him for future competitions and adding to his already abundant collection of trophies and title belts. Kyle trains at Peel Thai Boxing Gym 4-5 nights a week. His most recent fight was at the Yokkao Kids Next Generation Super show. Kyle won his bout adding to his incredible record of 47 fights undefeated over the last four years. Boxing Success

Matty Mayo’s ambition is to become a professional boxer. Matty has been boxing for the past eight years and really took to the sport. Giving back, Matty now helps to train younger boxers at the club where he is a member and volunteers at his old secondary school helping and encouraging at weekly sports activities. Matty was supported by The Trust for training equipment to enable him to undertake additional boxing training.

Great Manchester Run 10K & Half Marathon 2018

We’ve had a brilliant take up this year for the Great Manchester Run which takes place on Sunday, 20th May. There will be 64 runners in total representing and raising funds for The Salford Foundation Trust. Companies participating on our behalf include BNY Mellon, Property Tectonics, BDO, Salford Foundation and JD Sports. Every penny raised for The Trust goes directly into grants for children and young people in Salford.

McDonalds Easter Hampers

A huge thank you to all the McDonalds in Salford including Eccles West One, Cross Lane, Regent Road and Bury New Road restaurants who are selling raffle tickets to win fabulous fun filled Easter Hampers. All monies raised through sales of the tickets will be donated to The Salford Foundation Trust. You’ll be able to see our donation collection boxes and posters displayed in store.
